Zika virus: free articles by discipline
On 10 February 2016, a group of leading global health bodies including academic journals, NGOs, research funders and institutes published a joint statement committing to share data and results relevant to the current Zika crisis and future public health emergencies. This is in line with a consensus statement agreed at a WHO expert consultation in 2015 on data sharing.
We are committed to putting these pledges into action, therefore Springer Nature is opening its resources related to the Zika virus, including articles, commentaries, blog posts and news items.
By doing this, Springer Nature is offering the general public a platform for learning about new scientific developments concerning this epidemic. The selected content is drawn from Nature, Springer, BioMed Central, Palgrave Macmillan journals, the AdisInsight database as well as Scientific American.
