Springer Nature home of...

The year 2016 was undeniably a very eventful year for us here at Springer Nature, it brought with it much hard work, many exciting developments and transitions that ultimately would better serve our customers who are central to all that we do.

The bottom line is the name may have changed but the underlying principles remain the same and some cases are even better. As we move through 2017 we hope it will become clear to you why this merger took place and how it was a necessary step for us in order to grow, evolve and pioneer as a publisher. It is important to us that we give back to the research community, it is for this reason new initiatives have been introduced post-merger and we plan to continue developing new products and services that will further enhance the customer and community experience.

One powerhouse

In May 2015 Springer Nature was formed - a new force in scientific, academic, educational and professional publishing. Springer originally the home to leading STM quality content, and Nature Publishing Group the home to cutting-edge and ground-breaking research.

With the merger, both companies combined all their skills and talents to form one powerhouse, whose sole job is to better serve its customers with one shared goal to help researchers, students, teachers and professionals advance discovery.
