Launch of Nature Machine Intelligence
August 2019 | The Nature Machine Intelligence journal was launched in January this year and is already setting new standards for transparency and reproducibility of research findings in the field of machine intelligence. Together with Nature Methods and Nature Biotechnology, Nature Machine Intelligence launched a trial in partnership with Code Ocean which enables authors to share fully-functional and executable code accompanying their articles and making it easier to review the code and replicate the results.
Nature Reviews Physics off to a strong start
August 2019 | The Nature Reviews Physics journal was launched in January this year and has been off to a strong start with contributions from well-known authors in the field. Its first issue featured a comment by the American theoretical physicist and Nobel prize winner Frank Wilczek titled “The evolving unity of physics” in which he discusses the synergy between the different fields of physics. March and April followed with two focus issues on nuclear power and the future of particle accelerators while the May issue featured an article about the representation of women in physics.
