The editorial and publishing research group of Springer Nature was formed in May 2015 from the merging of Nature Publishing Group, Palgrave Macmillan, and Springer Science+Business Media. Our significantly larger editorial hub provides areas of excellence in a wider array of disciplines, extensive open access awareness and combines the strength of our individual brands.

Nature Research

Nature Research, with more than 300 editors spanning 7 locations, is dedicated to serving your scientific community. Our journals include Nature, the Nature branded research and reviews subscription journals, alongside open access journals including Nature Communications, the Communications journals and Scientific Reports. We offer online databases and researcher services, including online and in-person training and expert language and editing services.

 

Open Research

Covering all scientific disciplines, our open access brands—BMC, SpringerOpen and the Nature Partner journals—published close to 70,000 articles in 2016. This research is all freely available online to the widest possible audience. We are committed to increasing the transparency, collaboration and efficiency of research.
