The world-leading open access portfolio in the physical sciences

Publishing open access (OA) makes your work immediately and permanently available online for everyone, worldwide. Springer Nature is pleased to offer a variety of open access options to help you to publish your work OA, in both journals and books.

Our editors have curated a selection of journal articles and book chapters that they believe best demonstrate the breadth and depth of our OA portfolio in the physical sciences. To explore this content, please click on the list of disciplines in the side bar.

We invite you to explore these articles and book chapters and then learn more about how you too can publish your work OA.
