OA agreement for FSLN in Canada

FSLN logo

The Federal Science Libraries Network (FSLN) is a partnership of seven Canadian government departmental science libraries whose aim is to enhance access to scientific information, support research, and strengthen library services.

We are very proud that FSLN has entered a Transformative Agreement with Springer Nature. Please find further agreement-related information on this page.

Authors affiliated with participating FSLN institutions can make their publications immediately open in subscription journals that offer the hybrid open access option (Open Choice) and the Creative Commons Attribution license (CC BY and CC BY-NC), with fees covered by their institution. The article processing charge is covered by the Canadian institutions within the FSLN.

This agreement also includes access to more than 2,300 subscription journals on SpringerLink, at no extra cost to employees of the participating FSLN institutions.

On this page, we provide the most important facts and information materials for Approval Managers and Librarians. If you have any further questions, you can always contact us at libraryrelations@springernature.com.
