At Springer Nature, we have a mission to get every book we publish into every relevant research library in the world. We want the students and researchers who need your work to be able to find and access it when they want it. One way we do this is by publishing books in multiple formats. Along with print, eBook, and online access via SpringerLink, MyCopy allows readers an additional way to read your book.

MyCopy is a unique service from Springer Nature that gives library users with access to SpringerLink the ability to order print-on-demand soft cover editions of eBooks for just $39.99 / €39.99.

MyCopy is available worldwide

All English-language eBooks that have a copyright year of 2005 and later with less than 1,200 pages are available as a MyCopy. This includes monographs, textbooks, reference works, and handbooks. This option is currently available in more than 30 countries.

MyCopy is different than a print book

MyCopy is available to library patrons at institutions that have purchased one or more of our eBook packages. You will not find MyCopy editions on library or bookstore shelves. These editions do not replace print books, but are an excellent service for customers that appreciate the option of having a print edition of a book to go along with the eBook version.

MyCopy is an innovative option that creates wider distribution options for your research

The price point of MyCopy opens up an additional distribution channel for your book. We see this as a benefit to your readers. It allows your research to reach more people in the scientific community, expanding beyond the traditional print and eBook options available on the market. Your scientific content will be valued more highly when it can reach additional audiences. MyCopy lets your readers decide on the format that is right for them. Since we sell the majority of our printed books to libraries and institutions, and MyCopy is sold exclusively to individuals, it opens up a new and exciting sales channel that benefits both the customer and the author.

Ordering a MyCopy is easy to do online

Ordering a MyCopy is as simple as visiting the eBook page of your book on SpringerLink. After adding the MyCopy version to your cart, readers can check out as they normally would with just a few easy and quick steps.
