SDG 9: Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure

Sustainable infrastructure and industrialization are essential for achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Infrastructure provides the foundation for economic growth and development, while industrialization creates jobs and opportunities. However, traditional infrastructure and industrialization models are often unsustainable, leading to environmental degradation and social inequality. SDG 9 aims to build resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation. This goal calls for a new approach to infrastructure and industrialization that is more sustainable, inclusive, and equitable.

This hub is a clearinghouse for research on UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, published across Springer Nature. It features selected research from Springer Nature's journals, special issues, and cross-journal article collections, as well as selected books and book chapters. The curated research covers topics including sustainable industrialization, inclusive and sustainable infrastructure, innovation and technological advancement, and more.
