Announcing the 2022 China New Development Awards

See the winning books here

On Monday, August 1, Springer Nature revealed the 10 books to win a 2022 China New Development award. Each of these 10 books — and their authors — work to push progress on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across a range of disciplines.

To celebrate these awards, Springer Nature held an award ceremony at its Beijing office. This ceremony featured presentations from Shahbaz Khan, Director of the UNESCO Office in Beijing; Dr. Wei Yang, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Advisor to Springer Nature; and several members of Springer Nature’s senior leadership team. Authors or co-authors of 9 out of 10 of these books were also able to attend the ceremony and collect their prize certificates and trophies.

You’ll find videos of the presentations — including speeches from the winners — as well as the list of winning books — below.

Congratulations to all the winners!
