The United Nations estimates that more than 700 million people, or 10% of the world population, live in extreme poverty or can not fulfill the most basic needs including health, education, access to water, and sanitation. In response to this the goal of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 1 is to eradicate poverty in all its forms, leaving no one behind.
In order to help tackle these pressing problems and to help realize the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 1 (SDG1: NoPoverty), Springer Nature is joining the cause with this hub, collecting research across disciplines and imprints, and aimed at researchers, policy makers, practitioners, and anyone else active in working towards this goal.
