About the book series

The ‘China and Globalization’ series of books was inspired by CCG’s mission of exploring China and its role in the future of globalization, leveraging its extensive network of diplomats, economists, academics, policy makers, think tank experts and key opinion leaders to put the latest perspectives on key global issues from leading global figures and top Chinese academics into print through Springer Nature’s publishing program. The illustrious authors in CCG’s Cooperation with Springer Nature include Nobel Laureates Angus S. Deaton and Edmund Phelps; American political scientists Graham Allison and Joseph S. Nye Jr.; Singaporean diplomat and scholar Kishore Mahbubani; former WTO Director-General Pascal Lamy; and the founders of CCG Dr. Henry Huiyao Wang and Dr. Mabel Lu Miao, to name just a few.

The ‘China and Globalization’ series has received critical acclaim with leading titles such as The Asian 21st Century (3.47m accesses, by March 31, 2024), Soft Power and Great-Power Competition (266k accesses, by March 31, 2024) and Consensus or Conflict? (370k accesses, by March 31, 2024). Topics dedicated to China’s rise and the global community’s understanding of it, as well as the urgent need for constructive global dialogue, feature in the highly downloaded OA volumes we have published in partnership with CCG. The title Consensus or Conflict? , the first volume to be published in the series, was a recipient of the Springer Nature “China New Development Award” in 2022. We are thrilled to continue our collaboration with CCG via this book series to further facilitate necessary dialogue around geopolitics and international relations for the aspiration of world peace.”
