United States Research Advisory Council

The US Research Advisory Council was the first research advisory council convened by Springer Nature. Launched in 2021, this model has since been expanded other regions of the world. The council is made up of advisors who represent our key external stakeholders: governmental and private research funders, research institutions, policymakers, umbrella associations, research-led corporations, scholarly societies, and early career researchers.

Council members are encouraged to share their opinions and experiences related to research culture and the impact of research on society. Our engagement with the council is designed to provide us with a deep understanding of the research ecosystem from a regional perspective and help align our publishing activities with the priorities of our key external constituents.
