It is this potential that has given cause to researchers to question whether this could be a “potential game changer” for cancer. Having made tremendous progress in cancer treatment over the decades, researchers have recently turned their gaze to microbiomes – will all this attention open up a host of new opportunities to understand and tackle the disease?
