In response to the challenges faced by researchers, funders and institutions, we're now offering research data services to help the research community manage and share data.

The three new services are:

  1. Research Data Support: dataset deposition and curation service
  2. Training: data curation and research data best practice for researchers and institutional staff
  3. Reporting: monitoring data availability statements to support compliance and impact reporting

“We’ve developed these services in direct response to what people are telling us they need and are worried about. We know from talking with funders and institutions that they share common concerns: lack of data standards and metadata expertise in the research community, lack of incentives for researchers, identifying which data to archive and preserve. The Research Data team are here because we are passionate about making open data and good research data practice the new normal.”

Grace Baynes, Data & New Product Development Director in Springer Nature’s Open Research Group
