How can I access SpringerMaterials?

Access to SpringerMaterials is provided via a license via IP-Range or seat based model. If your institution has a SpringerMaterials license, and you access the platform within the IP-Range of your organization then access is provided automatically. For corporate organizations Springer Nature also offers seat based access models, which provides access to a limited number of users. If you do not have access yet, please get in touch with Springer Nature’s sales team to learn about different options.

What kind of usage statistics are available?

Usage / COUNTER reports are available for the SpringerMaterials platform. To access these reports log into the Admin Dashboard on and go to the Usage section. Select SpringerMaterials from the platform options box. The following COUNTER reports are available:

  • Database Report 1 (DB1): Total Searches, Result Clicks and Record Views by Month and Database
  • Database Report 2 (DB2): Access Denied by Month, Database and Category

A specialized SpringerMaterials usage report is also available upon request. This report covers web analytic data that complements the COUNTER report and gives highly detailed usage insights.
